teams; as well as obtaining the worlds strictest compliance certifications. Leading
Edge Policies and Compliance Standards are primarily responsible for protecting
client assets from unauthorized or inappropriate access to sensitive account information.
Information that is necessary to efficiently and effectively service accounts for
our clients.
The Information Security and Compliance programs address administrative, technical,
and physical safeguards appropriate for Leading Edge's size and complexity.
The Information Security Program is designed to:
- Help ensure the security and confidentiality of classified information.
- Protect against anticipated threats or hazards to the security or integrity of such
information.
- Protect against unauthorized access to or use of such information that may result
in substantial harm or inconvenience to Leading Edge customers or account holders.
- Ensure that Leading Edge accurately executes defined asset management services in
direct alignment with in client SLAs (service-level agreements).
- Ensure proper and secure cash management activities in accordance with client and
regulatory requirements.
Certifications
SAS 70 TYPE II
Statement on Auditing Standards (SAS) No. 70, Service Organizations, is a widely
recognized auditing standard developed by the American Institute of Certified Public
Accountants (AICPA). A Type II report not only includes the service organization's
description of controls, but also includes detailed testing of the service organization's
controls over a minimum six month period (e.g. January 1, 2009 to June 30, 2009). Read More
